Press the “START” button.

Connect the Tedlar Bag containing the standard gas to the tip of the probe.

When measurement values have been stabilized, press the “Apply” button to terminate
measurements.
When the “Hold Peak Value” button is yellow (enabled), a maximum value is displayed.
When it is black (disabled), an instantaneous measurement value is displayed.

To stop measurements, press “STOP”.
The following message appears. Press “OK”. When measurements are stopped,
measurement results are not used for calibration.

When the ratio (F) of the measurement value (MEASURE) to the concentration of the
prepared standard gas (STD) is within the range of 0.67 < F < 1.5, the calibration is
completed and the new F-value is recorded.
When the F-value is outside the range, the calibration is regarded as a failure and the F-
value before the calibration is recorded as it is. Press “OK” to close the error screen.

When calibration has failed, it is impossible to obtain correct measurement results
because the calibration of the instrument has not been carried out. The possible
causes of the failure are unsuccessful preparation of standard gas and dirt in the
instrument.
Reprepare standard gas and carry out recalibration.
If calibration still fails, consult with our agent or service department.
