TROUBLESHOOTING
The following table shows the most common problems that may arise when using the machine, the possible causes and the
suggested remedies to solve them.

The suggested remedies must be performed by quali fi ed personnel, according to the instructions shown in this
Manual, if present, otherwise contact a Nil fi sk Service Center, where it is possible to consult the Service Manual.

Camera kit –
PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES
Problem Possible cause Remedy
BROOMS
The brooms do not clean properly
The brooms are not properly adjusted Adjust
The broom speed is not correct Adjust the speed
The brooms do not rotate
The safety system stopped broom rotation
because the engine speed was excessive
Decrease the engine speed to 2,050 rpm
Lack of tension in the solenoid valve Check the electrical system
There are oil leaks from the hydraulic system
fi ttings/hoses
Repair/replace
The motors are faulty Replace
The accessory system pump does not
pressurise the oil in the circuit
Check the oil pressure in the hydraulic system
The broom switch is off Turn on
The fuse is burned Replace
The solenoid valve is burned Replace
The operator is not on the driver’s seat The operator must sit on the driver’s seat
The driver’s seat microswitch is faulty Check the connections/replace the microswitch
3RD BROOM ARM
The 3rd broom arm swings
The tensioning springs are not properly
adjusted
Adjust
The end-of-stroke sensors are not properly
adjusted
Adjust
The 3rd broom arm does not shift sideways
The safety pin is broken Replace
Lack of tension in the solenoid valve Check the electrical system
The distributor is stuck Repair
The cylinder gaskets are worn Overhaul the cylinder
The switch is off Turn on
The fuse is burned Replace
There is an open in the left/right shifting push-
buttons
