Configure your Wi-Fi network’s connection parameters and security, and additional Wi-Fi
options.
●
Specify the maximum number of devices that can connect to the WiFi network.
Note
: For some of these Wi-Fi settings, if you change them, all connected devices will be
disconnected and have to reconnect after the settings are saved.
The following information is displayed.

Main Wi-Fi
Network Name
This is the name that identifies your Main Wi-Fi network and is visible to
other Wi-Fi-enabled devices. (See

Guest Wi-Fi
Network name
This is the name that identifies your Guest Wi-Fi network and is visible to
other Wi-Fi-enabled devices. (See
Change Wi-Fi Network Names and
Passwords
.)

Rate
This setting determines the type of Wi-Fi devices that can connect to your
network.
For the Main and Guest 2.4 GHz networks, the default connection is
Up to
300 Mbps
. The other choices are
Up to 130 Mbps
and
Up to 54 Mbps
.
For the 5 GHz network, the default connection rate is
Up to 300 Mbps
. The
other choices are
Up to 400
Mbps and
Up to 800 Mbps
.
Wi-Fi Channel
This is the active channel of the Wi-Fi access point. If your network is
having performance issues (possibly caused by other Wi-Fi networks in the
vicinity using the same channel), try a different Wi-Fi channel. See
Wi-Fi

.
RTS Threshold
This setting specifies the smallest packet size, in bytes, for which RTS/CTS
(Request to Send/Clear to Send) handshaking is used. The recommended
value is 2347. Change this value only if you’re experiencing inconsistent
data flow. Make only minor changes to this value.
