To specify the firewall security level:
All security levels, except “None,” protect against known Internet attacks and attempts at remote
access to your modem.
1. On a computer or wireless device that is connected to your gateway, launch a Web
browser.
2. In the address or URL field of your browser, type
http://myrouter

3. When prompted to log in, enter
admin
for the user name and type the password. (The

4. Click
Settings > Firewall Rules
.
6. Select the radio button for the security level that you want.
7. Click the
Apply
button.
The following settings are available.
Item Description
High
The high security setting only allows basic Internet functionality. The
