6-1037A

Rev. 09/09/19

PLEASE REVIEW ALL WARNING INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO OPERATION. SAVE THIS MAN U AL FOR FUTURE REF ER ENCE.

Always turn off the air supply, drain

hose of air pressure and detach

tool from air supply before install-

ing, removing or adjusting any part

or accessory on this tool, or before

performing any maintenance on

this tool.

Tire buffing wheels or rasps can be

mounted providing their speed rating

exceeds the speed of the Tire Buffer

and the thread size of the mounted

accessory must match the size of the

quick change adapter.
After mounting a new tire buffing

wheel or rasp, start the Tire Buffer

under bench and run for a few sec-

onds. If the Tire Buffer starts to

vibrate when first fitting a mounted

tire buffing wheel or rasp, or during

operation, immediately remove from

service.

If Tire Buffer is dropped,

replace the tire buffing wheel or

rasp.

When using the Tire Buffer, be careful

not to exert excessive force which

could be hazardous and cause

mounted quick change adapter to

bend or break.
Correct buffing wheel mounting is

necessary to prevent injury from bro-

ken buffing wheels or rasps.  Do not

use chipped or cracked  buffing

wheels or rasps. Tire buffer wheels

and rasps should be a free fit on the

quick change adaptor to prevent

stress at the hole.  Tighten the buff-

ing wheel on the quick change adapt-

er to prevent spin off when the air

buffer is turned off.

NOTE:  During operation, safety

goggles should always be worn to

guard against flying debris (users

and bystanders).

Never mount grinding wheels,
cut-off wheels or drill bits.
