About This Manual

This installation guide covers the steps involved to install and use the client
component of Mylex’s Global Array Manager® with Mylex PCI Disk Array
Controllers for Software Kit 5.

For information on installing and running the

server

component of Global

Array Manager, consult the

Global Array Manager Server Software

Installation Guide and User Manual

for Software Kit 5.

Conventions

Throughout the manual, the following conventions are used to describe user
interaction with the product:
