Telephone Line Specifications

Most telephone companies recognize either “3002” or “Type 5” as desig-
nations to define phone line types and associated electrical specifications.  
Telephone lines meeting the specifications for either of these types are ac-
ceptable for use with the station.  Table 9 shows the specifications for 
“3002” or “Type 5” phone line types.
