indication of the signal strength
received for the DAB channels 5
to 13 can be used to readjust the
alignment of a reception antenna
and / or to reposition the unit if re

ception is poor. To call up the list
of the DAB channels, press the
button MENU, turn the knob CON

TROL SELECT to select
Manual tune
and then press the knob to call it
up. Select and call up the channel
used to broadcast the correspond

ing station (e. g. 7A). A bar graph
will indicate the signal strength
received. To return to the station list,
press the button MENU or BACK

5) To save a station and to call up
a station saved:
The procedure for
saving a station and for calling up
a station saved is the same as in
the operating mode “Internet radio”:

stations that currently do not
broadcast signals are listed.

To compress the dynamic range:
For some programmes, the dy

namics of the audio signal can
be compressed: The volume of
quiet sounds will be increased
and loud sounds will be attenu

ated (ideally suited for background
music, for example). Press the

DRC
(Dynamic Range Control) and con

firm your selection. The following
options are available:

The DRC setting will have no ef

4.3 FM radio

first time, the first FM reception fre

scan is factory-set to only stop at
stations with good reception. For
the automatic scan to stop at sta
