adjustment to take effect, select

4 Operation
1) Standby and switch-off: When the
button STANDBY or, on the remote
control, the button is pressed, the
unit will go to the standby mode. To
switch the unit on again, press the
same buttons again. In the standby
mode, the display will show the date
and the time and the symbol that
indicates network connection (
➀
item 2 below).
To switch off the unit completely,
use the switch POWER.
2) To select the operating mode:
Press the button MODE repeatedly
until the operating mode desired is
shown on the display:
Internet radio  Music player  DAB radio 
FM radio  Bluetooth Audio  Aux in
It is also possible to use the main
menu to go to a different operat -
ing mode. The main menu can be
called up from any operating mode:
Press the button MENU, turn the
knob CONTROL SELECT to select
Main menu
and then press the knob
to confirm. In the main menu, se -
lect and confirm the operating mode
desired.
In each operating mode and in the
standby mode, network connection
is indicated by means of a symbol
(wireless LAN symbol or LAN sym -
bol, depending on the type of con -
nection):
or = connected
or = not connected
Note regarding network connection:
When the setting
YES
has been selected
for “
Keep network connected
” during unit
setup, the unit will permanently main -
tain the connect i on. When
NO
has been
selected, the unit will disconnect the
network connection as soon as it is not
required anymore. This setting can be
changed by means of the correspond -
ing menu item in the menu “System set -
tings”.
3) To adjust the volume and to mute
the sound: Use the control MAIN
VOLUME at the unit or the buttons
VOLUME on the remote control to
adjust the volume: Mute, 1 … 32.
The button MUTE can be used to
mute and unmute the sound.
4.1 Internet radio
Internet radio can only be received
when the network settings have been
made (

chapter 3.3.1 or 3.4).
1) Press the button MODE repeatedly
until
Internet radio
is shown. If there
has been no connection to the net -
work (

note regarding network
connection in chapter 4, item 2), it
will be established now, indicated
by the corresponding messages.
Then the Internet radio station most
recently listened to will be played or,
when the operating mode is called
up for the first time, the menu for this
mode will be opened:
