e) “E.P.A.” function
This function enables you to set the maximum permitted end points
for the steering, accelerator and additional servos. This may be
necessary to protect the servos from the mechanical stop (servo
humming). You can select the maximum end point of the three chan-
nels, for both end point directions in the range between 0 and 120 %.
Select the function „E.P.A.“ with the programming setting wheel as
already shown in the previous programming examples and activate
it. The number behind „Channel“ flashes.
Now select the channel (CH1, CH2 or CH3) in which you want to
change the rotating direction by turning the programming setting
wheel (e.g. CH1 for steering). Now push the button „Set“ (see figure
3, item 13). The number behind „Channel“ (e.g. Channel 1) remains
lit now. Below it, the display now flashes with the set adjustment path
(e.g. 100%). An arrow is displayed above the number. It assigns the
indicated (flashing) percentage) to a rotating direction (e.g. to the
left).
Set the steering wheel of the transmitter to the left full stop. Turning
the programing setting wheel permits you to select the adjustment path of the steering servo for the rotating direction
shown in the display (e.g. left) between 0% and 120% with the receiver system on. Observe that the control path is
sufficient for the intended function, but the servo does not run to block in the respective full deflection (servo hums).
Now turn, e.g. the steering wheel at the transmitter to the right full stop for the setting CH1. Now the arrow direction
it he display changes from the left to the right. The currently stet value for the rotating direction to the right flashes in
the display.
Set the desired value with the programming setting wheel now. Save the desired setting by pushing the programming
setting wheel.
To change the path settings of other servos, push the programming setting wheel again and select another servo
(CH1, CH2 or CH3). If you do not make any further settings, save the setting by pushing the programing setting wheel.
Now push the button „Return“ (see figure 3, item 10) to get to regular operating mode.
