d) Binding function
In order for the transmitter and the receiver to commu-
nicate with each other, they must be bound using the
same digital coding. When delivered, the transmitter
and receiver are already coordinated and can be used
immediately. The renewal of the Binding function is,
primarily, only necessary after switching a transmitter
or receiver, or when eliminating faults. When the trans-
mitter and receiver are bound, the LED in the receiver
remains lit. The transmitter and receiver are not bound
if the LED in the receiver flashes slowly in spite of the
transmitter being on.
If a new connection needs to be created between the
transmitter and the receiver, proceed as follows:
Disconnect all servos from the receiver (1). Then
connect the programming plug (3) to the socket for the
receiver power supply. Now connect the battery (2) of
the receiver to a free socket of the receiver (e.g. Ch1). The receiver LED flashes quickly after activation of the receiver
power supply. Hold down the „Bind“ button (see Figure 3, Number 12) on the transmitter and switch it on.
When the LED in the receiver remains lit, binding has been successfully completed. Now switch off the receiver power
supply again and remove the programming plug. Connect the servos again. test the correct function and perform a
range check.
