User Management Setup
5. After changing selected user name and password, click
to save and apply the changes for selec-
ted user.
Delete User Account

To delete user account, select the user name and click .
NOTE
Users cannot delete both default accounts “Admin” and “Guest”.
Setup User Permissions (Authorities)
1. Set access permissions to the functions listed in the User Management setting menu.

represents the user account is authorized to access the function.
n
represents the user account is not authorized to access the function.
NOTE
The preset account “Guest” can only view live streaming channel under the Live View.

Device: Access to the Add Device function tab
n
PTZ: Access to control the Camera PTZ functions in Live View
n
Playback: Access to the Playback/Export function tab to configure the videos/snapshots stored in the
system
n
Setup: Access to enter Setup function tab and change NVR system configurations
n
Covert IP Cameras: Users can decide which channels to be seen or hidden when certain user accounts
log in.
1. Click
(Covert Setting) corresponding to the desired user account to enter the setting menu.
2. Check the channel box to reject user access.
3. Un-check the channel box to allow user access.
4. Click
to check or un-check all channels.
5. Click
to save and apply the setting, or click to discard the changes.
