NOTE
To ensure the motion detection function is enabled for the NVR, go to Setup > System > Event Man-
agement to enable event trigger function (Refer to Event Management under System Setup for further
instruction).
Motion Index
NVR supports each IP camera 4 sets of motion detection settings. Select from the drop-down menu next to
Motion . In each motion index, users can set at most 10 sets of motion detection windows.
Sampling
Users can configure the interval of sampling pixel (e.g. if user set the interval as 5, IP camera will take 1
samplig pixel from every 5 pixels of each row and each column in detection area and compare). System will
trigger the alarm when differences are detected.
Detection Level
Detection level is how much the camera can accept the same sampling pixel's difference within a short time.
Lower detection level detects more minor motions.
Sensitivity
Sensitivity is used to set the motion detection intesity percentage. Higher sensitivity means system will trig-
ger motion detection alert with lower motion intensity detected.
