System User Interface Introduction
Camera Information
— Smart: Allows the camera to decide the occasion to remove the IR cut filter. Smart mode mech-
anism is judging whether the main light source is coming from IR illumination. This mode pre-
vents camera from turning off night mode when secondary light source exists but was not enough
to help the camera provide a clear image. For cameras with built-in IR LED module, three addi-
tional IR function modes are available: Light Sensor/Light On/Light Off.
— Light Sensor: Light Sensor detects light source and judge if ambient illumination requires IR LED
lights to provide clearer image.
— Light On: Always turn on IR LED lights.
— Light Off: Always turn off IR LED lights.
— IR Day / Night Threshold: IR Day/Night Threshold is used as light level standard for cameras to
switch between Day/Night mode. Threshold value represents the level of light for camera's ambi-
ent illumination. The range of the threshold value is from 0 to 10 (0=Dark; 10=Bright).

IR Day Threshold: Camera switches to Day mode once ambient illumination light level reaches the set
value. Default value is 7.

IR Night Threshold: Camera switches to Night mode once ambient illumination light level reaches the
set value. Default value is 3.

Camera Information
Users can check brief summary of the selected IP camera. Click on any IP camera channel from the View Man-
agement's Camera View list or from the display layout to see the basic information. Camera information
should include site name, IP address, device type, video format, etc.
