NVR Setup
System
Date Format
Users can choose the preferred date display type. Four display type includes: <YYYY/MM/DD>, <YYYY/DD/MM>,
<MM/DD/YYYY> or <DD/MM/YYYY>. “Y” represents “Year”, “M” represents “Month” and “D” represents “Day”.

After selecting preferred format, click to save the settings, or click to reload cur-
rent settings.
Time Zone
Users can select their own current time zone. Visit www.greenwichmeantime.com to find out the correct
local time zone.
NTP Server Setup
Users can setup the NTP (Network Time Protocol) sever after selecting the preferred time-zone. The default
NTP server is time.nist.gov. Users can change to any preferred NTP servers. A list of IP addresses for the NTP
servers is provided below:

After choosing the preferred NTP server, click next to the server to sync the time imme-
diately.
In addition, time can be regularly synchronized.
1. Check the “Enable Auto Sync” box, select preferred time from the drop-down menu.
2. Click
to save the settings. The time will be automatically synced every hour/day/week accord-
ing to users’ preference.
Daylight Saving Time Setup
This function is for users who live in areas that observe Daylight Saving Time. Check or un-check the “Enable
DST” box to enable or disable this function. If the function is disabled, the DST Start/End time will be grayed
out and cannot be accessed.

DST Start & End: These items are used to program the daylight saving duration.
1. Click the Month / Week / Weekday drop-down list to change the value.
2. After setting, click
to save and apply the setting.
