MKS MultiGas High-Speed Gas Sampling Cart
Step 6: Install the Computer (if packaged separately)
1.
Unpack the Computer from shipping box.
2.
Slide into provided slot under the MultiGas from the back side of the cart
3.
Connect Ethernet cable to port labeled FT-IR on the rear of the computer.
4.
Connect power cable to the computer and plug into the bottom power strip.
Step 7: Connect Facility Nitrogen, Span Gas, and Exhaust Lines
1.
Connect process purity Nitrogen to the lower rear connection labeled
N2 Supply
on the cart
and regulate at 20-100 psig.
2.
Connect span (calibration) gas to system.
3.
Connect exhaust line to the port located on the rear lower panel labeled “Toxic Vent” to
Facility exhaust.
Note:
Water may condense in the exhaust line
•
Use a 7/8 inch diameter line less than 25 feet in length to minimize backpressure
in the system
•
Keep the line lower than exhaust port
4.
Connect exhaust line to the port located on the rear lower panel labeled “Toxic Pressure
Relief” to facility exhaust.
Note:
•
Use a 1/2 inch diameter line
•
Keep the line lower than exhaust port
Note
Toxic Vent and Toxic Pressure relief should not be plumbed
together. They must remain dedicated line up to the facility
exhaust
