Prior to unlocking brakes, check for ob-
structions on the floor that might pre-
vent the table from moving smoothly to
new location. Relock the brakes imme-
diately once the final position is
reached and before commencing sur-
gery. To move the table safely one staff
member should be positioned at the
head end and one at the foot end. If the
patient weight exceeds 115 kg, four
staff members are required to move the
table and ensure patient safety. If pa-
tient weight exceeds 230 kg, the brakes
should remain locked at all times.

Don't move a table with patient carried.
There is a risk that patient may fall and
injure or staff may injure.

Don't move a table with heavy object
carried. There is a risk that heavy object
may fall and damage or staff may injure.
NOTE
With an evenly distributed patient
weight load, all table positioning func-
tions will operate smoothly and quietly
with a patient weight of up to 360 kg.
b. Trendelenburg
To place the table in a Trende-
lenburg (head down) position, press the TREND
button (figure 2-7). To place the table in a reverse
Trendelenburg (head up) position, press the REV
TREND button. Trendelenburg positioning of up to
30° may be obtained.
WARNING
To maximize patient safety, utilize
proper restraint methods during ex-
treme Trendelenburg positioning.

CAUTION
The combination of minimum elevation
(top all the way down), extreme
Trendelenburg positioning and top slide
function may allow the back section to
collide with the base or floor.
c. Lateral Tilt
To achieve lateral tilt right (as
viewed from the head end of the table), press the
TILT RIGHT button (figure 2-8). To achieve lateral tilt
left, press the TILT LEFT button. Tilt of up to 30° may
be obtained.
WARNING
In order to ensure the maximum safety,
whenever lateral tilt is operated, be sure to
utilize a restraint method. There is a risk
that a patient may fall from operating table.
