7. Computer Link Connection
Computer link connection (RS-232C communication) has the following features.
•
Because a computer link unit and the GOT can be connected on the one-to-one basis, two
or more GOT units can be connected in accordance with the number of computer link units
connected to the PLC CPU.
• When peripheral equipment having the GPP function is connected to the PLC CPU,
sequence programs can be debugged while monitoring is performed in the GOT.
7.1 System configuration
*1 For the system configuration on the computer link unit/serial communication unit side, refer
to the USER'S MANUAL of the used computer link unit/serial communication unit.
*2 The RS-232C cable is to be prepared by the user.
For the details of the preparation method, refer to section 7.4.
*3 When the A1SJ71C24-R2 is used and the connection destination PLC CPU is the
AnUCPU, the access range for monitoring is equivalent to the range in the AnACPU.
