Basic settings can be configured according to 'Application Steps.' However, when executing the specific operation such as 
"Update Firmware" and "Read saved data" individually, the target operation icon needs to be selected from the menu tabs 
([Home], [Actions], [Settings], [System] and [View]).

Home

A setting tab for connecting a code reader.

Actions

Operation icons that instruct operation to the code reader are displayed.

Settings

Operation icons for setting the code reader are displayed.
The settings of 'Read Setups' and 'Code Quality' can be set in this tab.

System

Operation icons for a code reader system are displayed.
'Acquiring backup data', 'Updating the firmware version of a code reader,' and 'Initializing the code reader' can be executed in
