Energy saving tips

Residual heat utilisation
- In cooking programmes using
temperatures greater than 140 °C
and with cooking durations longer
than 30 minutes, the temperature can
be turned down to the lowest
possible level about 5 minutes before
the end of the cooking programme.
The residual heat in the oven is
sufficient for cooking the food until it
is done. However, never switch the
oven off (see “Warning and safety
instructions”).
- If you have set a cooking duration for
a cooking programme, the oven
heating elements will switch off
automatically shortly before the end
of cooking. The residual heat in the
oven is sufficient to complete the
cooking process.
- It is best to start the pyrolytic
cleaning programme immediately
after a cooking programme. The
residual heat in the oven will help
reduce the amount of energy
required.
