Note: In the connection example above, "Sensor 3" is not directly connected to the battery
voltage output (K4) but is conducted via the isolated switch contact (K9, K10). This ensures
that the supply of "Sensor 3" (provided the isolated switch contact is operated in "Ext.
warmup time" mode) is switched in accordance with the "Ext. warmup time" (see "Output
channels" on page 88). This means that even when the switch contact is closed, a
permanent power consumption of up to 471µA (19µA in LP digital mode) due to a load of
8k9 (220k1 in LP digital mode) can be prevented. However, this method is not suitable for
the "Cnt.Day", "Cnt.Intervl.", "Freq" and "PWM" operating modes as these modes require a
permanent supply of the sensors. This method is not suitable even if an input operated in
"Digital" or "LP digital" mode is to be used to initiate a trigger event.
7.4.2 Connecting the GSM antenna
Important note: To ensure the correct functionality, only use antennas that are supplied by
the manufacturer.
The standard antenna is directly attached to the antenna connector (see "Overview" on page 17) of
the myDatalogEASYplus . In the event of a low radio signal strength, you can use the Flat antenna
Smart Disc FME-F 2,5m (206.814).
