Chapter 12 Maintenance

Chapter 12 Maintenance

Important note: To prevent any damage to the device, the work described in this section of
the instructions must only be performed by qualified personnel.

The device must be deenergised before any maintenance, cleaning and/or repair work.

12.1 General maintenance

l

Regularly check the myDatalogEASYplus for mechanical damage.

l

Check all of the connections for leaks or corrosion on a regular basis.

l

Check all of the cables for mechanical damage at regular intervals.

l

Clean the myDatalogEASYplus with a soft, moist cloth. Use a mild cleaning agent, if necessary.

12.2 Replacing the rechargeable battery or battery pack

Important note: When replacing the rechargeable battery or battery pack under adverse
weather conditions or site locations where water can enter from above, find a suitable dry
location for replacing the rechargeable battery or battery pack. If this is not possible, protect
the opened device against penetrating moisture using suitable means.
