12.2.2 Jam detection principle
Jams may happen during the print.
The causes of jam detection come from the following reasons:

E-566: Double sheets: This error is due to the detection of two sheet on the feeder entrance (C2). Below is
explained the different double sheets sensor state. In case of double sheet sensor detection. please remove
every sheets detect by the double sheets sensor before clearing the double sheets detection error message.
No double sheets
detected.
Only one sheet passed
between the transmitter
and receiver. The receptor
light
up green (no
blinking).
No error.
Double sheets detected.
The receiver light up red
(No blinking).
E-566:
Double sheets
error on the pilot screen
and on the 3DS Hub
Manager.
No sheet detected
between the transmitter
and receiver.
The receptor light up both
red and green (blinking)
No error.
The transmitter and
receiver are not facing
each other. As result the
error E-566 appears just
after the print launch.
E-566:
Double sheets
error on the pilot screen
and
on the 3DS Hub
Manager.

E-572: Paper Jam: Each job are setup according to a printing substrate length defined on the 3DS Hub
Manager.
Jams may occur if one of the jam detection sensor detects a printing substrate for more than a specified
time/distance.
