24 EPG (Electronic Programme Guide)
EPG ( E lectronic P rogram G uide) is an electronic program guide for many TV and radio
programs.
So-called DVB-SI data is transmitted with the TV picture in the TV signal (DVB-S, DVB-C or
DVB-T).
DVB-SI (Digital Video Broadcasting-Service Information) is a service provided by different
broadcasters. Program details are broadcast digitally by each broadcaster exclusively for
those programs it offers.
EPG Settings
• Press the button to open the EPG.
• Press the green button and open "EPG settings".
• Select "EPG" with the cursor in the context menu and press the button.
• Use the cursor to select "on" or "off" and press the button.
• If "on" has been selected, set "EPG Data for ..." with the cursor and press the button.
• Use the cursor to select "TV", "TV (short)" or, if a radio station is shown in the electronic
programme guide, "TV & Radio", "TV & Radio (short)" and press the button.
• Press the button to exit the menu.
