28.3.2 Basic settings for series timers
Series times can be assigned general settings.
Priority: The timer priority can be set to "Low" or "High". A timer with high priority will be
considered before a timer with low priority .
Example: series timer is set with "High" priority and a PVR timer with "Low" priority
is set for nearly the same time. The programme with the series timer will
be recorded and the programme with the PVR timer will not be recorded.
Time tolerance: For series timers, a slightly larger time window is created with buffer time
before and after the planned programming time to account for special
occasions, such as live broadcasts or sporting events that may result in
delays or deviations.
Setting the PVR timer basic settings:
• Press button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Menu" with the cursor and press the button.
• Select "Recordings/EPG" with the cursor and press the button.
• Select "PVR timer" with the cursor in the context menu and press the button.
• Select "Time tolerance" or "Priority" with the cursor in the context menu and press the
button.
• Use the cursor to select the desired time tolerance or alternatively priority and press the
button.
• Press the button to exit the menu.
