14.2 Setting the automatic on and off times
The TV can be programmed to switch on or off at specific times.
The switch-on time switches on the TV set automatically at a time you set.
The switch-off time switches off the TV set automatically at a time you set.
Setting switch-on time, switch-off time:
• Press button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Autom. On/Off" with the cursor and press the button.
• Select "Autom. On" or "Autom. Off" with the cursor in the context menu and press the
button.
• Use the numeric keys to enter the desired time.
• Select "OK" with the cursor and press the button.
When the time of the "Switch-on time" is reached, the TV set is switched on from the
stand-by mode (red LED on). The automatic switching on must be activated with any key of
the remote control, otherwise the TV set switches back to stand-by mode after about
10 minutes. After automatic switch on message is displayed, you must press the
key.
This ensures that the TV set does not remain switched on when you are not at home.
The programmed switch-on/switch-off time must be deleted in the menu if the process
is not to be repeated every day.
