TV set does not respond to remote
control • No direct line of sight contact between remote
control and TV set.
• Direct sunlight shining on infrared window of
TV set.
• Remote control batteries flat.

• Replace batteries.
• Switch on the TV set with the power switch.
• Switch the TV set on and off with the power

After switching on, the message
“Code entry” appears on the
screen. • • Perental control was programmed and all
programs have been blocked.
• Enter the code number with which you
programmed parental control.
The TV set was switched off using
the
button, but the yellow or
blue-red light diode is still on.
• EPG data of the electronic program guide are
being collected.
• A recording is running
• None; once the data has been collected in full
the TV set will switch off automatically.
No sound is output on the TV
speakers • In the "Sound" menu under "Sound Settings,
general", "Speaker off" is selected.
• In the "Sound" menu under "Sound Settings,
general", "Speaker on" is selected.
No EPG data available or only
certain data • The TV set was unable to collect any data,
because it was switched off with the power
switch on the TV set.
• Switch TV set to stand-by mode only with the
key of the remote control.
