2.2 Base Label and Bit Switches
On the underside of the FCM9002 there are bit switches which may be used to
configure certain functions within the unit.
The bit switches are ONLY used to configure the default settings following a cold
start. A cold start may be triggered by setting switch 8 to the OFF position and
power cycling before returning SW8 to the normal ON position. Alternately, a
cold start may be requested from the User Interface.
2.2.1 WAN Port Configuration
Bit switches 1 to 5 are used to configure the default setting for the WAN Network
port of the device and are used on installation to ensure the FCM9002 physical
interface matches that of the network port it will connect to.
2.2.1.1 Switch 1, WAN Port
The WAN mode switch selects between the two physical interfaces for the WAN
port.
