If there is no visual acknowledgement, have ATA checked at a quali‐
fied specialist workshop.
Getting in/out
&
WARNING Risk of accident and injury
due to children left unattended in the
vehicle
If children are left unattended in the vehicle,
they could:

Open doors, thereby endangering other
persons or road users.
R
Get out and be struck by oncoming traf‐
fic.
R
Operate vehicle equipment and become
trapped, for example.
In addition, the children could also set the
vehicle in motion, for example by:
R
Releasing the parking brake.
R
Changing the transmission position.
R
Starting the vehicle.

Never leave children unattended in the
vehicle.
#
When leaving the vehicle, always take
the key with you and lock the vehicle.
#
Keep the vehicle key out of reach of
children.
Be sure to observe the safety notes in the "Chil‐
dren in the vehicle" section.
To get in and out safely, you should always use
the steps and grab handles. They are the only ele‐
ments designed to bear such a load. Do not jump
out of the cab.
Keep the steps, entrances, grab handles and your
footwear free of dirt. This will make your footing
safer.

Side windows
Opening and closing the side windows
&
WARNING Risk of becoming trapped
when opening a side window
When you open a side window, parts of the
body could be drawn in or become trapped
between the side window and window frame.
#
When opening, make sure that nobody
is touching the side window.
#
If someone is trapped, release the but‐
ton immediately or pull it in order to
close the side window again.
