If an arriving packet matches more than one TFM rule, the rule with the highest priority will be
applied to that packet.

These default settings mean that
any
data (all packets) is passed from Ethernet to InfiniBand
and vice versa.
Services
When adding a TFM rule, the service to which the rule is applied, must be specified. The
service refers to the protocol type of the packet and port numbers (in case of UDP, TCP
packets) or service type (in case of ICMP packets.). Each TFM rule is applied to packets of a
specific service only.
Each rule should be associated with a specific protocol service, which must be defined by the
user. Supported protocols include TCP, UDP, and IGMP.
Services should be set up prior to prior to creating the
tfm
rules. The
tfm
rules are then
implemented according to the defined services.
