that if you want to configure a sRB-20210G, this name will be used as the default name of its
interface.
NOTE:
If, from the Switch CLI, you run a
config
chassis
interface
interface show
command, you will see this name as the newly created sRB-20210G interface. Refer to the
Switch User Manual (GridVision Documentation Suite) for more information.
Step 4
Enter the appropriate Subnet IP address, network mask, and Default Gateway according to
the defined network.
Step 5
Enter the PKey of the network that you want to define (in Hexadecimal format).
Step 6
Select the default membership.
Partial: Members with Limited membership cannot communicate with other members with
limited membership but communication is allowed between every other combination of
membership types.
Full: Members with Full membership may communicate with all hosts (members) within the
network/partition.
Step 7
Check
VLAN Tagged
if you wish to configure a VLAN to be part of the InfiniBand network.
This is performed via the sRB-20210G interface enabling it to attach an InfiniBand partition to
an Ethernet VLAN.
Step 8
Click
Apply
and
OK
to save your changes. The new network is created and added to the
Networks Table. In the example below, the new network is named Bob.

Note that you can also create a network from the Port Info or Partitioning windows, which are
accessible by right-clicking a port in any of the windows where ports are visible, such as:
A Host (from the Topology Map, the Subnet Tree, or from the Table View)
The Site Topology Port Table (Port tab)
An I/O port under the Internal Structure in the right pane of the Site Topology Window
A rack (Topology Map)
Step 9
On the Partitioning tab, click
New Network
and proceed as described in the above procedure.
