4.3 Starting an ECG recording
The communication between the TELESMART and the PC is established using a Blue-
tooth
wireless module.
The TELESMART recorder can start the ECG recording triggered by the PC, or directly
without using the PC.
4.3.1 Recorder direct start procedure
When the recorder is turned on, the entry menu is displayed:

To start the recorder, select the [New] button. The following prompt will appear:
Delete
Erase recording?

Selecting [No] returns to the previous menu [existing recording].
Selecting [Yes] deletes the existing recording, and displays the following:
Patient's name

press and hold ‚Micro’

Using the [Micro] button, speech may be recorded as long as the button is de-
pressed. Pressing the button again after a recording deletes the previously recorded
audio, and allows a new track to be recorded. During the voice recording a progress
bar is displayed the represents the recording time. The maximum voice recording
time is 16 seconds.

After the voice recording has ended, the previous window is loaded, where the
recorder inquires if a pacemaker is present:
