Are there any software updates for MI? If so, how could I know there is one.  

Software updates for MI are created on a regular basis (.e.g. quarterly). When an update is available, 
MI owners receive an email message with release notes and downloadable update. Updates are also 
available on Mediaimager website - http://mediaimager.com/update/. 

Is the set of adapters only available in the SuperKIT version of MediaImager? Can I buy it separately?  

No, adapters set is only available together with the SuperKIT version.  

Is my language supported?  

MI supports English, Korean and Ukrainian, however new languages will be added to the device.  

Can I setup the time zone?  

Yes, time zone can be set in the Settings tab on the device. 

What operating system does Mediaimager use?  

Mediaimager  is  using  the  Microsoft  Windows  Embedded  8  Standard  system.  Newer  devices  have 
been equipped with the Windows Embedded 10 OS. 

What file system does Mediaimager use when formatting target drives?  

MediaImager formats drives to NTFS file system.  

Does Mediaimager go with a carrying case?  

The SuperKIT version contains a carrying case, which helps with field work.

Do I need to work in Law Enforcement in order to buy the Mediaimager?  

Using the Mediaimager is not limited to LE officers, it can be bought by anyone who needs it.  

Which ports are available on the expansion cable?  

Expansion cable contains four SAS/SATA interfaces:  

 

P1 – Source5  

 

P2 – Source6  

 

P3 – Target9  

 

P4 – Target10  

Expansion  cable’s  ports  can  be  reconfigured  when  buying  the  Mediaimager  or  we  can  also  help 
remotely to configure ports - please contact our support engineer.
