Hashing
Mediaimager provides methods to verify drives and images known as hashing. Commonly used in
computer forensics algorithms to calculate checksums in order to determine whether or not the
data is corrupted.
Disk hashing
Disk hashing function allows users to calculate and verify drives checksums. Hashed device must be
connected as a source drive.
To start hashing drive press the hash tile and hash disk in application’s Home Screen.
