Alarm Message
Priority
Remedy
Syringe Barrel Not in Place
High
The syringe is not loaded correctly. Make sure the syringe barrel clamp is
correctly positioned and is holding the syringe in place. Proceed with the
infusion.
Syringe Flange Not in Place
High
The syringe is not loaded correctly. Make sure the syringe flange is
properly inserted into the flange clip. Proceed with the infusion.
Syringe Plunger Not in Place
High
The syringe is not loaded correctly Make sure the syringe plunger head is
properly inserted. Proceed with the infusion.
Syringe Does Not Match
Library Entry
Limit
Program the delivery for the type of syringe you are actually using. Then
proceed with infusion setup and start it.
Syringe Empty
High
The pump has halted infusion at empty. You may either:
Prepare and load another syringe, then begin another infusion.
Press the
Start
button to override the empty alarm and deliver any
remaining fluid in the syringe.
Return to the S
ELECT THE
M
ODE
screen, where no alarms sound.
Turn off the pump.
Syringe Empty
