28. Pivot Lug Horizontal Track Roller
A. Pivot Lug Horizontal Track Roller
Removal
(Ref. Figure 402)
(1). Remove cabin door.
(2). Remove pin rivet or screw (31), washer
(32) if installed, post (34), and spacer
(38). Remove track roller (35).

Item Nomenclature
C310 Primer
(1). Install post in track roller.
Primer (C310)
(2). Apply primer (C310) to mating surfaces
of spacer and pivot lug.
(3). While primer is wet, install pin rivet or
screw, washer if installed, post with
track roller, and spacer. Torque pin
rivet or screw.
(4). Install cabin door.
29. Cabin Door Latch Mechanism (EARLY
CONFIG)
A. Door Latch Mechanism Removal
(Ref. Figure 402)
NOTE:
Left and right latch mechanisms are
typical.
(1). Remove cabin door.
(2). Remove cabin door trim panel (Ref.
Section 25-20-00).
(3). Remove and discard cotter pins (43).
Remove washers (44) and clevis pins
(45).
(4). Remove screws (55 and 56), washers
(54), bolts (48 and 69), and support
plates (57 and 70).
(5). Remove and discard cotter pins (49).
Remove washers (44) and clevis pins
(50). Disconnect tubes (46 and 47).
(6). Remove tubes (46 and 47).
(7). Remove screws (58 and 59) and
washers (54). Remove inner door
handle (60).
(8). Remove and discard cotter pin (43).
Remove clevis pin (52). Disconnect tube
(53).
(9). Remove clevis (66) and nut (67).
(10). Remove and discard cotter pin (49).
Remove washer (44) and clevis pin (50).
Disconnect tube (53).
(11). Remove tube (53).
(12). Remove screws (63 and 64), outer door
handle (61), and handle housing (62).
(13). Remove screws (65), washers (54), and
bellcrank (51).
(14). Remove screws (59), washers (54), and
strike plates (71 and 72).
B. Door Latch Mechanism Installation and
Rigging
(Ref. Figure 402)

Item Nomenclature
C239 Sealant
(1). Put bellcrank in its installed position.
Install screws and washers. Torque
screws.
(2). Put outer door handle and handle
housing in their installed position,
install screws. Torque screws.
(3). Install clevis and nut in tube (53) with
approximately one half of clevis in tube.
Do not tighten nut at this time.
(4). Put tube (53) in its installed position.
(5). Connect tube (53) to handle housing
assembly and install clevis pin, washer,
and cotter pin.
