SPEECH RECOGNITION SYSTEM (Models with NAVI)

Speech Recognition System Operation

Using the Speech Recognition System

Press

button on the steering

wheel button.

• The speech recognition commands

available in each mode will be
displayed and a BEEP will sound
after "Please say a command after
the beep tone." in speech guidance.

• Touch

. The language

setting screen appears. Touch the
desired language on the list.

• Touch

. A list of available

commands will be displayed on the
screen.

Speak a speech command.

• Speak a speech command within 5

seconds after the beep sound.

• If you speak the wrong voice

command, or the unit understands
it incorrectly, wait for talkback audio
to finish and then say "Back" to
cancel the operation.

• When the spoken command has

several options, optional speech
commands are displayed on the
screen. Speak the command
selected from the list.
