Android Auto

About the Android Auto function

Connecting an Android smartphone that has the Android Auto application installed via
USB enables the use of handsfree calling and audio playback. To use Android Auto,
you must install the Android Auto application on your Android smartphone.
Check the Android Auto support website for more information about Android Auto.

• The unit's Android Auto setting must be turned on in order to use this function. See

"Android Auto settings" on page 3-6 for details on the Android Auto settings.

• If Bluetooth settings are already configured, your Android smartphone automatically

establishes a Bluetooth connection when connected.

NOTE

• Android smartphone applications may not display on this unit's screen depending

on the application's specifications.

• Due to changes to the device's specifications, differences may arise between the

contents of the manual and the device's functionality.

• Check the Android Auto support website for more information about the

functionality and operation of Android Auto.

• If the model has navigation, the map screen displayed is the one set immediately

beforehand.

• Android Auto may not be available in your country or region.
