Wrong Model Type/Pausing During Workout

If the issue remains, do a
console reset in Engineering
mode.
Additional Information:
If the console misidentifies the frame as a U30 upright bike, the console may pause during
workouts because it fails to detect speed (RPM).
Wrong Model Type/Safety Key Error

Safety Key Error on bike,

Try to short the safety key
connection on the UCB
(Figure F below) and
perform a console reset.
Check the console cable
for pinches or cuts (Figure
G below) .
Check connections on the
LCB; on Ascent Trainer
frames, you only need to
remove the four screws
that attach the front
cover.
Additional Information:
When the console misidentifies a bike or elliptical frame as a treadmill, the Safety Key Error (Figure E)
may occur.

Try to short the safety key connection on the UCB (Figure F) and perform a console reset.
2.
Check the console cable for pinches or cuts. (Figure G)
3.
Check connections on the LCB; on Ascent Trainer frames, you only need to remove the four
screws that attach the front cover.
