XR 26 Troubleshooting Guide
Speed Does Not Display (for BK/EP/AT)

Speed value (RPM) does not
display on the console
Unplug the power cord,
remove the console, and
check that all connections
to the console are secure
and not damaged or
pinched.
Replace speed
sensor
Remove the side cover
and check to see if the
sensor wire is connected.
Make sure one corner of
the sensor is aligned with
the magnet and that the
distance between the
sensor and magnet is less
than 5 mm.
Calorie Count Inaccurate (A30/50, E30/50 only)

Update console to
latest software
version.
Additional Information:
When the Calorie formula was updated at version 7.019 on the XR to match the higher Calorie formula
on the XER/XIR, the speed calculation did not get updated. As a result, the Calorie formula on the XR for
Ascents and Ellipticals did not depend on resistance. The issue is resolved with a newer software version.
