User should change the IP address of each NTP port using Telnet connection GPS TIME SYNC
UNIT MC-1-DE. Refer document Appendix E1 for configuring GPS TIME SYNC UNIT MC-1-DE as
Telnet Server.
8.2.7 Password Change Command:
The user is allowed to change one password. The command for changing password is:
P(password)
The factory set password is ‘MASIBUS’. Suppose, user wishes to change it to ‘INDIA’, then the com-
mand will be:
PINDIA
Remember that the password should not exceed 9 characters. If you try to keep a password that has
more than 9 characters, the system will show an error “Invalid Command” and the previous password
will be retained.

It is operator’s responsibility to remember the configured
password if it is changed from factory set password.
