2. In the PLC/Controller Address frame, enter the PLC coil or controller address. Or click the
PLC/Controller Address button to display the Edit PLC/Controller Address dialog:
3. In the Reference Address area, click the pull-down box to select the target PLC memory area. Use the
numeric keypad to enter the specific PLC memory address. Select the PLC Network Address (if
applicable) and HMI communication port. Click Enter to go back to prior dialog box.
4. The Vertical Max attribute specifies the maximum value, which is the top of the "Y" axis of the XY
Plot. The Vertical Min attribute specifies the minimum value , which is the far left of the "X" axis of
the XY Plot.
5. Click OK. The XY Plot is displayed on the main screen of BlueLeaf. If necessary, use the mouse to
drag the object to the location on the screen that you want. You can also highlight the object to display
the small white perimeter boxes and adjust the size. Move the mouse cursor over the appropriate white
box until the mouse cursor changes to a double-arrow symbol, then click and drag to change the size.

To use the XY Plot object
1. The first register (D n ), as stated in the Edit XY Plot Display Object window, holds the 16-bit value for
the number of plot points of the XY Plot. For example, if a "4" is entered, then the XY Plot will Plot
four plot points.
2. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n + 1) is the X1 (first plot point, "X" coordinate).
3. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n +2) is the Y1 (first plot point, "Y" coordinate).
4. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n + 3) is the X2 (second plot point, "X" coordinate).
5. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n +4) is the Y2 (second plot point, "Y" coordinate).
6. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n +5) is the X3 (third plot point, "X" coordinate).
7. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n +6) is the Y3 (third plot point, "Y" coordinate).
8. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n +7) is the X4 (fourth plot point, "X" coordinate).
9. The next consecutive 16-bit register (D n +8) is the Y4 (fourth plot point, "Y" coordinate).
