Ignition OFF
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Clutch sensor wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 1 of the clutch sensor wiring
harness connector and battery
ground
Check the resistance between
pin 2 of the clutch sensor wiring
harness connector and battery
ground
Is the value =
∞Ω
?
Examine the short circuit in
clutch sensor signal wires to
ground
Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify
Ignition OFF
EMS ECU wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Clutch sensor wiring harness
connector DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 3 of the clutch sensor wiring
harness connector and ground
STEP 5
Is the value < 1
Ω
?
Examine the open circuit in
clutch signal ground wire
Repair/replace the wiring
harness
Clear the DTC and verify
Suspect faulty clutch sensor
Replace the sensor with a new
one
Clear the DTC and verify
