Decommissioning, dismantling and disposal
The device may only be taken out of operation and disassembled by specially
authorised and trained personnel. Such specialist staff include authorised, trained
specialists employed by the manufacturer, the authorised dealers and the relevant
service partners.
Observe the product and safety data sheets of the lubricants used. Avoid environ-
mental damage. If the device is to be disposed of, it must be disposed of in an
environmentally responsible manner in accordance with local legislation.
Sort all dismantled materials according to type and take them to a suitable recycling
point. Collect operating materials such as grease, oil, coolant, cleaning fluids
containing solvents etc. in suitable containers and dispose of them in an environ-
mentally responsible manner.
Alternatively, you can take your device to a waste management company. They will
ensure that all parts and fluids are disposed of properly and ecologically.
11 Accessories
11.1 Roller cover W220, W250, W280
Install roller cover either plug-in or hinged. For this purpose, cut and mount the
appropriate threads.
CAUTION
Wear personal protective equipment when folding or removing the roller cover.
11.2 Crossing and lowering threshold
The overrun and lowering thresholds are lowered automatically when the light barrier
is interrupted.
CAUTION
Before working on the roller set, it is imperative that the pneumatic supply line is de-
pressurised. Risk of pinching!
