2. Locate latch (A) behind the grill and lift the latch to release
the hood.
3. Raise the hood until strap (B), which should be looped
under hooks (C) and (D), stops at approximately a
40° angle.
4. Remove strap (B) from hook (C) and allow the hood to rise
slightly farther.
5. Remove the strap from hook (D) and allow the hood to rise
fully to approximately a 65° angle.
5.3.4 Closing Hood

Highest Position
Once your maintenance or service tasks are complete, close the hood again before operating the windrower.

1. Pull down on strap (B) and loop it under lower hook (D).
2. Grasp strap (B) and loop it under upper hook (C).
IMPORTANT:
Failure to hook the strap may result in it becoming
entangled with the screen cleaners or the latch.
3. Pull down on strap (B), grasp the hood when it is within
reach, and lower it until the hood engages latch (A).
