At this point the instrument also closes the valve. If the in flight amount
(
) is set correctly, when the valve closed a quantity of product exactly
as the set point (
) will flow.
The instrument will wait for a time in seconds equal to the one set in
parameter to capture the value of the data weight for printing.
In the case where the algorithm of auto-correction of the amount in flight is active,
the
value will be corrected automatically by the system in function of the
error committed at each dosage. For details see section 0.

Scale zero
configuration

The
parameter allows you to set a minimum gross weight value to be
set to start the dosage. In other words before starting a dosing the scale must
score a gross weight equal to least the amount set in
parameter.
This parameter can be used as protection in case of absence of the tank / tin
before dosing.
To set the zero scale:
Enter the
menu as described in paragraph 5.3.2.
Scroll through the button
until the menu

to enter.

at any time to cancel and return to the previous menu.
The display will show the value currently set (default , no control).
To change it use the button
to increase the digit and
to
move on to editing the next one.

At this point the instrument will show the letters
and the procedure
is finished.
If the
parameter is set to 0, zero scale control is not performed and
the dosages start even if the indication of gross weight is negative. In that
case of operator error the valves and pumps could be inadvertently
commanded and it may cause of spills of product.
