3 Installation

3.1 Preliminary checks

Verify the status of the instrument through a visual inspection, inside and outside
of it. Any deformation indicate shocks experienced during transport, it could
compromise the normal operation.

Check if the instrument received is intact and complete with all accessories
essential for mechanical and electrical installation.

3.2 Mechanical installation

The instrument in question is supplied in nickel-plated aluminum case for DIN rail
mounting.

Figure 3 shows the mechanical drawing of the instrument.

The instrument must be installed in a safe area in accordance with ATEX
Directive.

The instrument includes a case with IP20 protection. It will be the customer
care to adequately protect the instrument in the installation environment.
