(3) Rotate top of caliper out of holding bracket and pull from brake rotor.
(4) Use wire to fasten calipers to frame.
CAUTION: Do not allow caliper to hang from brake line or damage to brake line may
occur
(5) Remove old brake pads (pads are clipped into position.) Notice how pads are
installed.

(7) Inspect rotor for damage or warping. If damage or warping is present, rotors
must be turned or replaced.

(9) Inspect caliper pistons and cylinders for leakage around seals. If leakage is
present, replace seals or caliper assembly. (An exploded view may be found in
Chapter 5, Section 9)
Installation:
(1) Use large C-clamp to compress caliper piston (Item 2.) Use caution to keep
piston even and level.
(2) Check master cylinder reservoir and maintain at a level that will prevent
overflows. If the reservoir becomes full and threatens to overflow, remove
some of the fluid and discard. (Never reuse brake fluid.)
(3) Install new brake pads with friction material facing the disc, making sure all
holding clips are in place.
(4) Slide brake caliper over the disc, starting the lower section into its locating
groove.
(5) Rotate and place the upper section of the caliper into position then replace
Allen bolts. Tighten Allen bolts (Fig 14, Item 1) firmly.
(6) Bleed brakes at bleeding screw (Fig 14, Item 3.)
