(9) Coat the inside of the open end of cylinder tube with automatic transmission

fluid and carefully slide piston into tube.

(10) Once piston is in tube, slide head down and carefully fit into tube end.

(11) Slide head cap over rod and tighten down securely with pipe wrench.

5. RADIATOR

Removal:

(1)

Allow engine to completely cool.

(2)

Drain radiator. Catch all fluid and dispose of in approved manner.

(3)

Remove upper and lower engine coolant hoses.

(4)

Remove transmission fluid lines.

(5)

Remove four (4) bolts on center section of front bumper.

(6)

Remove bolts holding radiator to fan shroud.

(7)

Lift radiator out of vehicle and take to work bench for repair/replacement.

Installation:

(1)

Place radiator into position and bolt to fan shroud.

(2)

Reinstall transmission fluid lines.

CAUTION: Do not forget to close petcock at bottom of radiator.

(3)

Re-install upper and lower engine coolant hoses.

(4)

Refill radiator with a 50/50 mix of ethylene glycol and water solution.

(5)

Check transmission fluid levels. Refill if necessary.

(6)

Start engine and allow to warm checking engine coolant levels and

transmission fluid levels when engine has reached operating temperature.
