CARBURETOR AREA: Spray carburetor
cleaner into the primary, (with engine at
fast idle) over the throttle plate and other
surfaces until engine begins to accept
cleaner with less of a tendency to die
(Approx. 10 oz.). Spray clean the exterior
of the carburetor including the throttle and
choke linkage.
Every 300 hours or (3) months
PCV VALVE: Replace to ensure reliable
operation.
Annually
PLUGS: Clean and regap to .045 or
replace.
Annually
DISTRIBUTOR: Check interior and
exterior condition of cap and rotor cap.
Lube the capstan area.
Annually
WIRES: Inspect wires for melted areas
and other damage that could allow spark
jump.
Annually
